Ghost Ranch is one of my favorite painting destinations anywhere. The high altitude desert, big skies, multi colored cliffs and fall colors are spectacular to see and exciting to paint. It is not hard to see why Georgia O'Keeffe made this her home.

We will arrive after 2 PM on Saturday October 8. Following dinner there will be an orientation meeting. Sunday after breakfast I will talk for an hour or so and paint a demonstration. Following lunch everyone paints.
For each of the next five days we will paint in a different location. For example on the wilderness dirt road along the Chama River, at the Echo Amphitheater, overlooking Abiquiu Lake, the cliffs of Ghost Ranch near and far. I will do demonstrations throughout the week.

Evenings in the studio will feature several critiques - time to touch up the days work - or just relax with friends.

Friday will be a full day of painting with a final critique that night. Saturday morning October 15 following breakfast the workshop will end. Everyone is welcome to stay and paint the entire day. Please make departure plans for Saturday not Friday.

I must warn you, the accommodations are not the greatest, but the views are spectacular and camaraderie is inspiring.
